The 'Charbonnages de Beringen' colliery, also known as 'Kleine Heide', is one of the few Belgian mines, which has been almost completely preserved. Two A-frames are the optical center of the pit. You have to look very carefully, until you realize, that the diaogonal braces of the headframe shown on the photograph are constructed of reinforced concrete.
