Pit 'Siège d'Eisden' of the Kempense Steenkolenmijnen was the most easterly colliery of the Campine coalfield. Although the preserved headframe is constructed of reinforced concrete, a typical feature of Belgian industrial architecture, the building looks remarkably light and filigree.
